These seals were specifically designed for electrical enclosures, disconnects, RV parks, industrial settings, factories, public utilities, fiber optic companies and cell tower installation / management companies.  Weather resistant.  Sold as 100 pieces / seals in this listing.  These seals are manufactured of the highest quality, highly-visible UV-stabilized colored Polyethylene.
WHY SUCH VIVID COLORS?:
When we designed these seals, our customers wanted security seals that were easily visible, even from a distance.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SEAL:
Each padlock security seal is a "one use" seal which snaps (locks) into place and is non-removable without leaving a clear indication of tampering. No special tool is required to attach these seals - simply clip around the object to be secured and compress the seal by hand.  You're done just that fast!
COLORS AND STYLES:
BRIGHT-ORANGE FIBER OPTIC SEALS:
These seals were specifically designed for utility companies, subcontractors, telecommunications companies and electrical contractors installing fiber optic cables.  Because of the seal's design, they can be affixed temporarily or permanently.  Mark fiber optic cables when installing to minimize the likelihood of other contractors inadvertently cutting the fiber.  Accidentally cutting a fiber optic cable can disrupt emergency services, call centers, telecommunications networks, cellular networks, computer centers, reservation centers, public utilities, security facilities resulting in millions of dollars in damages.  These orange fiber seals are critical in large buildings where fiber optic cables can resemble miles of “look alike” copper cables.
NEON-PINK LOCK OUT SEALS:
Let's face it, these are really hard to miss!  These seals were designed for RV parks, campgrounds and marinas where temporary electric service is provided to seasonal customers.  RV parks wanted a seal that was highly-visible - - even when driving around their campgrounds. If a large recreational vehicle rented a spot for a month but didn't want an “electric hook-up” the campground would seal the electric outlet's enclosure to minimize the likelihood of an illegal (and costly) hook-up.
BRIGHT-RED LOCK OUT SEALS
WITH WRITE-ON AREA:
These seals were designed as temporary electrical lockouts for companies involved in telecommunications, cable television “plant,” cell tower sites, wind farms, heating and cooling companies, electricians, new factories and construction sites.
FOR EXAMPLE:
As cellular towers are installed or upgraded, numerous contractors are involved: Fiber optic companies, the local phone company, internet providers, power companies, communications component companies, fencing contractors, the back-up generator company, tower climbing companies, lighting companies, third-party communications companies, etc.  As different contractors add their components, they can lock-out disconnects to warn other contractors to not energize the / their equipment.  The red tags provide a write-on area where additional information can be added (such as contractor name, number, date, circuit, etc.).
DIMENSIONS:
Each seal measures as follows:  Length of plastic body is 1.49"; width is 0.75; overall thickness is 0.17".  The "shackle opening" measures approximately 1.5" tall (prior to compressing / locking) by 0.83" at its widest point.  100-seals weigh approximately 12.7 ounces making these seals both rugged and light-weight.  Please see the listing's photographs for additional specifications.
