WS GEORGE LIDO CANARYTONE GOLD FILIGREE FLORAL 7 PC PLACE SETTING EUC

Description

This is a beautiful 7 Pc. Place Setting of Semi Porcelain China made by the W. S. George Pottery Company of East Palestine, Ohio.  Lido Canarytone is stamped on the bottom; Lido is the Shape of the mold (Square with Crimped Corners), and Canarytone tone is a rich Ivory Glaze with yellow tones.  The pattern number is stamped on the bottom of the dinner plate, 298A, but I have not been able to find out the name of the pattern; there are no others like it anywhere that I can find on line, even at replacements.com.   This line of ware was produced in the 1930's and early 1940's.  There is a one inch gold filigree border with a colorful floral center.  Each piece is in exceptional condition considering they are about 70+ years old.  There are no chips, cracks, crazing, loss of gold or pattern, and very few utensil marks, if any; nothing objectionable to be sure.  The place setting includes:
